How we positively impact the community through our contributions?

AFPD Scholarship:   Each year the AFPD Foundation awards academic scholarships worth $1,500 each to extraordinary students.

St. Jude: The mission of St. Jude Children's Reach Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.  St. Jude has helped push the childhood cancer survival rate from less than 20% when opened to 80% today.

Camp Kesem: Operates free summer camps for children who have been impacted by a parent's cancer.  By offering innovative, fun-filled programs that foster a lasting community, Camp Kesem aims to ensure that every child impacted by a parent's cancer is never alone.

Angel's Place: Provides people-centered services, including homes and professional support, for adults with developmental  disabilities.

Hockey has Heart (HHH): raises money to help support hockey families facing life altering challenges.

Kids Kicking Cancer: provides weekly classes for children, both inpatient and outpatient, in the mind-body techniques found in the martial arts. Their mission is to "easy the pain of very sick children while empowering them to heal physically, spiritually and emotionally."

Lungevity: Committed to making an immediate impact on increasing quality of life and survivorship of people with lung cancer by accelerating research into early detection and more effective treatments, as well as providing community, support, and education for all those affected by the disease.

John Loussia Cancer Fund: Provides financial assistance to those impacted by the high costs of medical expenses.
